Trailheads MSU
Montana State University
Building the next generation of leaders!
Trailheads MSU is a freshman-focused program offered through the Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success at Montana State University. Designed to inspire and guide first-year students, the program features engaging sessions with accomplished professionals who share their personal journeys and insights, empowering the next generation of leaders to navigate their own academic and professional paths with confidence.
Primary Logos
For the Trailheads MSU program branding, the client requested a versatile badge-style logo. A typeface inspired by national park trail signage was chosen to reflect the program’s theme of personal growth and exploration, symbolically linking the “trailhead” concept to each student’s academic journey. To anchor the design in Montana State University’s identity, the logo features a mountain with the iconic “M,” referencing the landmark found on the mountainside overlooking Bozeman.

Pull-Up Banner
As part of a comprehensive suite of communication materials for the Trailheads MSU program, a pull-up banner was designed to promote the initiative at events and outreach opportunities. The banner features the program’s primary logo element alongside key messaging that highlights its core components—mentorship, networking, and the development of academic and professional skills. Visuals and content were carefully balanced to also reflect the engaging, community-building activities that take place throughout the week, capturing both the purpose and spirit of the program.
